the idea
Working some years ago as head of the television department of the worldwide weather
forecasting company WNI weathernews,
one of my jobs was to create a demotape for possible tv clients and for
representing the work of the department to public.
I had several of video clips, 2D- & 3D-animations as a huge library available. As a result, I had to chooce a good background sound and modify the video scenes in the way, that thy fit to the beat of the soundtrack. |

the decision
During the preparation phase, one day, I listened to the b-side song "Celtic Strings" while driving to office. I decided to take that song as basic soundtrack, because it absolutely fits to the choosen video sequences. |
through the years
I made that demotape in 1998. I found the VHS cassette again in summer 2006 in my little private video collection and decided to make it pubic. Of cause, technical equipment has been developed to have better results. I also may do things better. So dont be too hard in your critics... ;o)
